Compton Computers, a leading IT system integrator with over 30 years of industry experience, successfully executed a large-scale CCTV surveillance and enterprise networking project for Nestlé at their Patti Kalyana Factory, Haryana, India.
The project aimed to strengthen security infrastructure, enhance real-time monitoring capabilities, and establish seamless wireless connectivity across the facility. It involved detailed planning, site analysis, and deployment of advanced surveillance and networking technologies tailored to enterprise-level requirements.
This report provides a comprehensive overview of the project, including its scope, site details, implementation strategy, and execution process. It also highlights the key activities carried out during the deployment, supported by structured planning and on-ground execution to ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability.
Despite having an existing surveillance setup, Nestlé faced critical visibility and security challenges within their Patti Kalyana Factory, Haryana.
The facility had multiple blind spots across key production areas, resulting in limited monitoring of essential operations. This lack of visibility created gaps in surveillance, making it difficult to ensure operational control and safety compliance.
Additionally, the plant’s boundary perimeter was not adequately covered by CCTV systems, raising concerns around unauthorized access and overall site security. The absence of comprehensive perimeter surveillance exposed the facility to potential risks and vulnerabilities.
These challenges highlighted the need for a robust and scalable CCTV solution capable of delivering complete coverage, enhanced security, and real-time monitoring across the entire premises.
To address the security and connectivity requirements, we designed and deployed a scalable and enterprise-grade CCTV and networking infrastructure that ensured real-time monitoring, seamless communication, and operational reliability. Our approach focused on delivering centralized visibility, robust wireless connectivity, and secure surveillance across the entire facility of Nestlé at Patti Kalyana Factory, Haryana.
- Installed and commissioned 92 high-resolution CCTV cameras across critical monitoring areas for complete surveillance coverage.
- Deployed enterprise wireless network using LigoWave, including 11 central base stations and 41 edge devices for seamless connectivity.
- Installed and configured CP Plus NVRs for centralized video recording, monitoring, and management.
- Set up Point-to-Point (P2P) connectivity to ensure stable communication between remote locations within the plant.
- Installed and organized distribution boxes to securely manage power adapters and network switches.
- Deployed wireless access points to enable uninterrupted connectivity across operational zones.
- Designed and documented network architecture and camera layouts for efficient system management and scalability.
The lack of a comprehensive surveillance system significantly affected operational efficiency, security, and monitoring capabilities at Nestlé Patti Kalyana Factory, Haryana. These challenges led to reduced visibility across critical areas and increased risk within the facility.
- Inefficient monitoring of production activities, resulting in limited visibility into day-to-day operations.
- Lack of machine-level surveillance, making it difficult to track performance and ensure proper utilization of equipment.
- Uncontrolled movement of personnel, with no proper tracking of entry and exit within the premises.
- Increased risk of theft and security breaches, as incidents could go unnoticed due to absence of proper surveillance coverage.
- Reduced overall safety and operational control, impacting compliance and security standards.
